Did you ever play hide and seek, when the adrenaline of the invisible becoming visible could send an electrical current through your body?
Peter wrote about the adrenaline of the invisible becoming visible: “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:8-9).
The goal of our faith is the restoration of our hearts. When the Restorer connects with us, his invisible presence in our lives becomes visible through deeds of love that happen in our lives. These deeds are done because of the inexpressible and glorious joy we have within us that becomes contagious to those around us. When we are restored to authenticity, we reflect a new heart, the heart of the Restorer.
Surrender your deeds of love to Christ, so that others will see the Restorer in you. The invisible will become visible.
